Event Manager - Distribution Partner Management EMEA (m/f/d) | from 01.01.2024

THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AWAITING YOU:

  • Plan, develop and execute onsite and digital events to ensure a smooth experience for attendees (Health Care Professionals and Distribution Partners).
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events for healthcare professionals in the EMEA region, including key involvement in communications and attendee handling for prestigious conventions such as IMCAS, AMWC and MEXS.
  • Provide expert advice to distribution partners on the delivery of their own events, ensuring high standards, compliance and a consistent image across the region.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to develop innovative event communication concepts and design engaging event materials, including invitations and guest management tools.
  • Ensure all event planning and execution is in line with legal, regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between Merz Distribution Partner Management EMEA and Merz Aesthetics EMEA to implement best practices and contribute to the annual brand plan.
  • Take ownership of event budgeting and maintain financial control of event spend.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in event management, business administration, marketing or a comparable field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in event management and a broad general marketing knowledge.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector and international events.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with event-related stakeholders within the organisation and with external service providers.
  • Experience in an international and agile environment, especially in the B2B sector.
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of other languages such as German, Russian or Turkish is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
