Medical Science Liaison Belgium

The following responsibilities are waiting for you:

As Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for developing, conducting and evaluating all internal and external medical and clinical training courses related to the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio (injectables and medical devices). You transfer your product knowledge to Health Care Professionals in Belgium. You do this, among other things, by going on visits (in close cooperation with the Sales Managers) and by participating in various events and workshops in Europe. This is therefore a position where you are on the road a lot (80% on the road and 20% from home/office).  

You will also be the first point of contact in your region for receiving, documenting and processing product complaints and adverse events in accordance with established procedures. You will also have some other administrative duties such as reviewing promotional materials (such as brochures and PowerPoint presentations) and conducting literature research. 

You don't have to do all this alone! You work closely with sales and the other Medical Science Liaison in Belgium. You will report to the Head of Medical Affairs.

What we expect from you:

  • A degree in Nursing and relevant work experience
  • You are available 40 hours a week
  • Living in the Flanders area in Belgium
  • Valid driving licence
  • Knowledge of languages: English and French
  • Affinity or experience with the aesthetic sector
  • Confident and professional work attitude

The application procedure as a whole consists of three interviews. The first interview is digital with the HR manager so you can get to know the company and the position. The second interview is with the Head of Medical Affairs and the third interview with the Country Manager. The second or third interview is at our office in the Netherlands or, if possible, somewhere on location in Belgium. Of course, we will take your availability into account when planning these interviews.
