The following responsibilities are awaiting you:

  • You support Post‑Market & LCM projects within Clinical R&D by contributing to scientific research and collaborating closely with clinical experts.
  • You prepare and refine scientific and administrative documents, ensuring clear structure, consistent formatting, and high quality.
  • You manage scientific literature, including literature searches, reference ordering, and maintaining the EndNote database.
  • You handle document archiving, including TMF-relevant files, following Merz retention standards.
  • You take on administrative and organizational tasks, such as travel coordination, purchase orders, invoice handling, correspondence (EN/GER), and small IT-related requests.
  • You organize meetings end-to-end, from scheduling and agendas to document preparation, technical setup, and minutes.
  • You create engaging presentation slides and scientific visuals using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and graphic tools.
  • You support smooth team operations, including onboarding tasks, workstation setup, and coordinating internal/external events and travel.
  • You assist the Head of Clinical Development EU and CD EU experts, if needed.

What we expect from you:

  • You are enrolled in a degree program in biology, medicine, biotechnology, or a comparable scientific field and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical environment.
  • You communicate fluently in English, and German language skills provide a valuable added benefit.
  • You bring strong scientific writing skills and enjoy translating complex information into clear, structured content.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and work confidently with digital tools.
  • You ideally have initial experience with scientific literature and reference management systems such as EndNote.
  • You are capable of critically reviewing scientific publications and extracting relevant insights.
  • You ideally possess a basic understanding of clinical research designs and methods, including familiarity with ICH GCP guidelines.
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, contributing positively to a collaborative environment.
  • You bring a hands-on mentality, show initiative, and enjoy taking proactive ownership of your tasks.
